GERTRUDE SANDERSON (d. 1919)

OLD RESIDENT ANSWERS CALL OF DEATH
Mrs. Gertrude Sanderson, widow of the late Sander Sanderson, and a
resident of Manitowoc county for fifty five years died at the hospital
Saturday night after an illness of several weeks. The funeral will be
held from the home north of the city to St. Paul’s Lutheran church at
2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Sanderson was born at Valders,
Norway April 1, 1848 and came to Manitowoc county in 1865 and two years
later was married to Mr. Sanderson who died in 1901. Mrs. Sanderson is
survived by four sons and two daughters, all residents of this city,
George Sigvard, Elmer and Melvin and Mrs. Edgar Hansen and Mrs. Ernst
Biermann. One sister, Mrs. S.O. Berge of this city also survives.
