HERMAN BRATZ

Herman W. Bratz, 65, of 1262 S. 31st St., Manitowoc, died early Wednesday
morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at First German Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Norval W. Kock will officiate with burial
in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. Bratz was born Nov. 29, 1910, in the Town of Eaton, Manitowoc County, son of
the late Richard and Ernestine Schroeder Bratz. He was reared in the Manitowoc
area where he lived all his life. He married Rose Csida Nov. 23, 1944, at St.
Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, Collins. He was employed by the City of
Manitowoc for 27 years, retiring in July of 1973. He was a member of First
German Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife, Rose, a son-in-law and daughter, Hilary and Beverly
Neuser, of Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Flora Kiesow, of Rt. 1, Valders, and
Mrs. Hertha Dittmann, of Manitowoc and nieces and nephews. A brother, Albert,
preceded him in death.

Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 5 to 9 p.m.
Thursday and at the church from noon Friday until the time of service. Memorials
may be made to First German Evangelical Lutheran building fund.
