Mrs. Theodore Braun, 70, formerly of 1019 South 15th street, died Sunday at
the Holy Family hospital following a lingering illness. She had been making
her home the past year with her daughter, Mrs. Edward Pautz of Maribel.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First German Evang-
elical Lutheran church, the Rev. L.H. Koeninger officiating. Burial will be
in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. Braun, nee Augusta Krueger, was born in 1878 in Germany and came to this
country, with her parents in 1882. She was married to Mr. Braun in 1904 in
Collins and they came to Manitowoc 22 years ago. Mr. Braun died last year.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Pautz of Maribel and Mrs. Emil Arndt of
Manitowoc two sons, Norbert and Leonard of Manitowoc; two brothers, William
and August Krueger of Wayside; sister, Mrs. Anna Raduchel of Wayside; five
grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the Pfeffer funeral home after 7 p.m. tonight and
will be moved to the church at 10 a.m. Wednesday to lie in state until the
services at 2 p.m.
