Mrs. Gabriella Bressler, nee Fischer, widow of the late Charles Bressler and
a pioneer resident of the city, died at an early hour this morning. Death was
due to infirmities of age, Mrs. Bressler being 84. Companions for sixty years,
death did not long separate Mr. and Mrs Bressler, the death of Mrs, Bressler
occurring nine months after that of her husband whose demise was sudden last
year. Mrs. Bressler was born in Bohemia November 28, 1828, and came to Manitowoc
in 1848, being married four years later at Rapids. With her husband she made her

was patient and cheerful. The death of Mr. Bressler was a great shock to her and
she had failed in health since that time. Two sons and four daughters survive
