LOUISE BREUER
Louise S. Breuer, age 98, of 814 N. 12th St., Manitowoc, died Saturday
evening, May 18, 1996, at St. Mary's Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 23, 1996, at First
Lutheran Church Chapel. Rev. Steven D. Olson will officiate with burial
to follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born Louise Schuette September 25, 1897, in Manitowoc, daughter of
the late Louis and Clara Schmidt Schuette. She attended Milwaukee Downer
College and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1921 with
a B.A. Degree in Economics. Louise was a memeber of the Alpha Xi Delta
Sorority. She married Orval Breuer June 27, 1922, in Manitowoc, and he
preceded her in death November 30, 1970. She was a member of First Lutheran
Church and a 70 year member of P.E.O. Chapter of Manitowoc.
Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, a sister, Martha
Vinton, Manitowoc; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her
husband, one brother, John Schuette; a sister, Helen Ristad, and a grandson,
John Breuer.
The family will greet relatives and friends at First Lutheran Church Chapel
from 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of services at 11 a.m.
Memorials would be appreciated to the First Lutheran Church, Holy Family
Memorial Medical Center, or St. Mary's Home.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral
