MARGARET BRIXIUS
Mrs. Margaret R. Brixius, 94, a resident of Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc, died late
Wednesday morning, April 27, at the home.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 a.m.
at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Theodore J. Hendricks will
celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mrs. Brixus, nee Margaret R. Gallagher, was born April 24, 1889, at Manitowoc,
daughter of the late Francis and Mary Sieracki Gallagher. She was married to
John H. Brixius October of 1908, at Antigo, and the couple resided in Manitowoc.
Mr. Brixius preceded her in death Aug. 10, 1959(sic).
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth E. and Elaine M. Brixius
of Manitowoc and Donald J. and Ann Brixius of Brillion; three daughters and sons-
in-law, Adeline and Victor Mrozinski, Grace and Louis Jirikowic and Virginia and
Chester Rosinsky of Manitowoc; a brother, Daniel Gallagher of Manitowoc, 10
grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. A daughter, Janet, died in 1936 and five
brothers also preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. A prayer service
will be at 7 p.m. by Father Hendricks.
