Mrs. Peter Broehl, 98, of 1221 S. Seventh St., Manitowoc, died Friday evening
at home.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral
Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Richard Schmitz will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Broehl, nee Barbara Kuemmet, was born Sept. 7, 1872, at Sheboygan, daughter
of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Kuemmet. She was married to Peter Broehl Oct. 10,
1895, at Chicago, and the couple came to Manitowoc in 1911. Her husband preceded
her in death Jan. 10, 1957.
Survivors include a son, J. Albert, of Manitowoc; a daughter, Mrs. Sydney (Marie)
Hinrichs, of Manitowoc; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home (State Street entrance) from 4 to 7 p.m.
Sunday and Monday until the time of services.
