Charles W. Brown __ (photo), of 1130 South Seventh St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday
evening at the Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc;
the Rev. Paul Blaufuss officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mr. Brown was born Sept. 11, 1904, in the Town of Leeds, Columbia County, the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Brown. He came to Manitowoc in 1923. On July 10,
1939, he married the former Marian Koenig at Lodi, Wis. For the past 21 years
he had been employed as a bus driver for the Manitowoc Safeway Motor Coach Co.
Survivors include his wife; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Brown of Lodi; two
brothers, Roy and Herbert Brown of Lodi; two nieces and two nephews.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Thursday.
