DOROTHY JANE BROWN

Mrs. Harvey F. Brown, 41, wife of a Washington Junior high school teacher,
died at her home, 1626 S. 15th street, Sunday morning after a lingering
illness.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the
Presbyterian church by the Rev. C.H. Phipps D.D. Interment will be in the
Evergreen cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Wattawa, Urbanek and
Schlei funeral home from this evening until Wednesday at 11 a.m. when it will
be removed to the church.
Mrs. Brown, nee Dorothy Jane Campbell was born July 20, 1902 at Pecatonica, Ill.,
the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Merton D. Campbell. In 1909 the family moved to
Chetek, Wis. On June 2, 1928 she was married to Mr. Brown and they resided at
Grantsburg, until they came to Manitowoc in 1930. Mrs. Brown is a graduate of
the Chetek high school and the Wisconsin Business university at LaCrosse.
Survivors are her parents, who live at Chetek, the widower, one daughter, Nadine
Nora, at home, a brother, Donald of Chetek.
