Leonard H. Brown, 67, of 2115 Markham St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday at Holy
Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Grace Evangelical Lutheran
Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Keith Haag will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Brown was born Feb. 14, 1907, at Wayside, son of the late Theodore and
Augusta Krueger Braun. He lived in the Wayside area until 1924, when he moved
to Manitowoc. He married Amanda Radloff Nov. 3, 1928, at Trinity Lutheran
Church, Brillion. He was a former employee of Rahr Malting Co. and Anheuser-
Busch Inc., for 36-1/2 years, retiring Sept. 1, 1969. He was a member of Grace
Evangelical Lutheran Church and a former member of the Brewery and Malt House
Workers Union Local No. 297.
Survivors include his wife, a son, Victor Brown, of Manitowoc, two daughters,
Mrs. Kenwood (Arlene) Keuene, of Manitowoc and Mrs. Kenneth (Dorothy) Kresheck,
of Hartford, Wis.; a brother, Norbert Braun, of Green Bay; two sisters, Mrs.
Edward (Lillian) Pautz, of Maribel and Mrs. Emil (Esther) Arndt, of Manitowoc
and six grandchildren. An infant son, Harold, preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral home, Manitowoc, from 6 to 9
p.m. Thursday and from noon Friday at the church until the time of service.
