SUSAN A. BRUCE
Susan A. Bruce, age 97, of 2616 Meadow Lane, Manitowoc, died late
on Monday evening, Aug. 13, 2007, at Holy Family Memorial Medical
Center, Manitowoc.
She was born on Oct. 9, 1909, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late
Joseph and Angeline (Becker) Stasiek. Susan attended St. Mary
Parochial Grade School. She was a past member of St. Paul Catholic
Church, Manitowoc, and recently attended Mass at Holy Family Memorial
Chapel. On Jan. 9, 1930, she married Douglas (Don) Bruce in Manitowoc.
He preceded her in death on Sept. 26, 1973. Susan's memberships
included: Musicians Auxiliary, Manitowoc Marine Band Auxiliary and
V.F.W. Post 659 Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by a son: LeRoy Bruce; a great-grandson:
Ryan Bruce; three brothers, and six sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m., on Friday, Aug. 17, 2007,
at The Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi
on Marshall, Manitowoc. Officiate of the Mass of Christian Burial,
will be the Rev. Richard Klingeisen. Concelebrating will be the Rev.
Robert Schiavone. with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral
Home, Manitowoc, from 4 to 8 p.m., on Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007.
A Prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. led by Deacon Alan Boeldt.
Visitation will continue Friday morning, Aug. 17, 2007, at The Pfeffer
Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 9 a.m. until the time of services.
The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Holy Family
Memorial Medical Center, and Shady Lane Home, for the compassionate
care given to Mother.
Mom was an avid bowler, crocheter, card and bingo player. Her happiest
times and greatest joys were visiting with her grandchildren.
After all these years, you're finally reunited in Heaven with Dad. We
