ALLEN BRUINS
Allen D. Bruins, 67, of 1401 Hillcrest Drive, Manitowoc, died Saturday morning,
August 31, 1991 at his home. Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Tuesday at First
German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Revs. Arno Wolfgramm and Bruce
Bitter will officiate with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
He was born July 18, 1924 in Manitowoc. He graduated from Lincoln High School in
1942. He was a member of Iron Workers Local No. 8 of Milwaukee and retired from
Modern Equipment Company of Port Washington in 1983. He married the former Betty
Singer on May 5, 1948 at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Betty; two sons, Richard A. Bruins of Madison, Jody A.
Bruins of Manitowoc; a daughter and son-in-law, Janis A. and James Ehleiter of
Franklin, Wis.; a grandson, Allen Dean Ehleiter.
Friends may call at Reinbold Pfeffer Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, 6 pm to 8 pm
Monday and at the church on Tuesday from 12:30 pm until the time of service.
