MABEL C. BUSHMAN
Mabel C. Bushman, age 82, a resident of the St. Mary's Home, Manitowoc, died
early Sunday morning, March 13, 1994, at the home.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 15, 1994, at First German
Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be the
Revs. Arno J. Wolfgramm and Bruce Bitter with burial to follow at the Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The former Mabel C. Wordell was born September 23, 1911, in Reedsville, daughter
of the late Gustav and Bertha Riemer Wordell. She married Andrew Bushman Jr.,
October 27, 1951, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Mrs. Bushman was
employed as a nurse's aide with the Sheboygan Memorial Hospital and the Manitowoc
Health Care Center. She was a member of the Manitowoc Senior Citizens.
Survivors include her husband, Andrew Bushman Jr., Manitowoc; four sisters and
three brothers-in-law, Evelyn and Omer Fischer, Manitowoc, Sophie and Walter
Zimmermann, Reedsville, Myrtle Voelker, Sauk City, Wis., Verna and Gordon Tippler,
Manitowoc; one sister-in-law, Edna Wordell, Shebogyan; nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by two brothers,
Edgar and Edward and one sister Laura Herzog.
Friends may call at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. Tuesday,
March 15, 1994, until the time of service. There will be no Monday evening visitation.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
