Harvey George Carstens, age 82, Inverness, Fl., died Saturday, June 5, 2010, at Citrus Health and Rehabilitation.
A native fo the Township of Manitowoc Rapids, Wis., he was born on May 3, 1928, to the late Harvey and Martha Carstens and came to this area 22 years ago from there. He was the owner/operator of United Laundry and Dry Cleaners in Manitowoc. Harvey was a member of First Lutheran Church of Manitowoc and First Presbyterian Church of Iverness.
He is survived by his wife: Betty Carstens, Inverness; two daughters; stepsons; one brother and one sister (private); two grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Carstens, and brother, Elmer Carstens.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held at a later date in Manitowoc. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is in charge of local private arrangements.
