Joseph Chermak(sic), an old resident of this county, father of A. J. Chermak,
died suddenly at his home on the Town Line road Wednesday morning. He was 85
years of age. He was an honest man and a good citizen and was held in esteem
by a large circle of friends.
The deceased is survived by his wife and eight children, Anton and Joseph, this
city, Louie and Albert of Chicago, Mrs. Hamachek, Milwaukee, Mrs. Sorenson,
Racine, Mrs. Pivonka, Tisch Mills and Mrs. Bessie Gilbraith, this city. The
funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home.
