Mollie Cherney, 76, North Ridge Care Center, Manitowoc, died Wednesday, April 13, 1988 at Two Rivers Community Hospital. The former Mollie Kocian was born May 23, 1912 at the Town of Cooperstown, daughter of the late Matt and Katherine (Tisler) Kocian.
Survivors include six brothers, Joseph, Des Moines, Iowa; Clarence, Route 2, Cato; Victor, Edward and Matt, Francis Creek; and George, Route 1, Whitelaw; two step-sisters, Marcella Stradal, Kellnersville and Lottie Nelson, Tomahawk, Wis.; a step-brother, Charles Zeman, Chicago, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Eleanor Wachal.
Services were Saturday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville with Rev. Francis Reinke officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
