Mrs. Emma T. Christensen, 89, of 1433 N. Sixth St., Manitowoc, died Saturday in Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Gerald Schrankler will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Christensen, nee Emma Olson was born January 14, 1888 in Denmark, Europe. She was married to Carl Christensen September of 1908 in Denmark. After marriage the couple immigrated to the United States settling in Manitowoc. She was a member of Rebecca Lodge of Manitowoc and Women's Guild of St. John United Church of Christ. Mr. Christensen preceded her in death in 1960.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Betty Seymour of Green Bay; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Salome Christensen of Manitowoc; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A son, Christian preceded her in death September 2, 1977.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home 5 o'clock to 9 o'clock this Monday evening and Tuesday until the time of service.
