KILLED IN AN AUTO MISHAP
Former Local Woman Meets Death In Arizona
A telegram received here late Saturday night advised that Mrs. Geo. Diehm,
nee Olivia Fehring, former Manitowoc resident, had been killed in an automobile
accident near Phoenix, Ariz., her present home.
Her husband, driver of the car, is in a Phoenix hospital. The message gave no
details of the accident. Mr. Diehm, it was reported, is not seriously injured.
Mrs. Diehm, daughter of Mrs. William Fehring of 812-1/2 South 14th street, was
born in Manitowoc and spent her early life here. She was married to Arthur Larsen
of Racine, and they moved to Phoenix to reside. He died four years ago. She was
married last December to George Diehm.
Survivors are the widower; mother; brother, Emil W. Fehring of this city; two
sisters, Mrs. R. H. Oestreich of this city, Mrs. Arthur L. Abendschein of
Minneapolis.
The body is to be brought to Manitowoc for burial and is being accompanied here
from the west by Miss Camera Larsen, a sister-in-law of Mrs. Diehm.
Time of funeral services, which will be in charge of Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei,
will be announced later.

Funeral services for Mrs. George Diehm, nee Olivia Fehring, daughter of Mrs.
William Fehring of this city, who was killed last Saturday in an automobile
accident at Phoenix, Ariz., will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Wattawa,
Urbanek and Schlei funeral home. The Rev. L. H. Koeninger of the First German
Evan. Church will officiate. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.
The body is enroute here from the west accompanied by Miss Camera Larsen, a
sister-in-law of Mrs. Diehm. It may be viewed at the funeral home from Sunday
at 5 p.m. until the hour of the services Monday.
