Born on the family farm in Little Black (Township) of Taylor County, WI; Emma was the daughter ofJulius Karl & Emma Aurora (Philipp) Weitzman.

In 1914, Emma first married Earl Edward Krouse; she was age 21, he was 25. While they eventually divorced, Emma & Earl had the following three children:

-o- Hilmer Kenneth (1916-1979)
-o- Gladys Ruth (1919-1995)
-o- Lester L. (1923-2012)

In 1929, Emma second married Harry Fred Drews in Manitowoc County, WI; they both were are 36. While they had no children together, Emma & Harry had 25 years of marriage together; living in Manitowoc & raising three children into successful adults.

A homemaker, wife & loving mother of three, Emma died at age 61.
