Mrs. Louise Dueno, 100, formerly of
930 S. 19th St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday evening at Villa Clement Rest Home,
Milwaukee, where she had been a patient six months. Funeral services will be at
1:30 p.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. L. H. Koeninger
will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

The former Louise
Steffen was born Sept. 5, 1864, in Germany, daughter of the late Carl and
Augusta Sampe Steffen. She came to the United States as a child with her
parents, who settled at Manitowoc. She was married to Frank Dueno Jan. 28, 1884.
He died Dec. 18, 1932. The past 12 years she had lived with a daughter, Mrs.
Frank Barwig, at Milwaukee. Mrs. Dueno was a member of the Ladies Aid Society of
First German Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Surviving her are two daughters,
Mrs. Barwig and Mrs. Clara Anders, of Rt. 3, Manitowoc; three granddaughters,
Mrs. Ray Folkman of Waukesha, Mrs. Elmer Johnsen of Manitowoc and Mrs. Carl
Ohlrogge of Rt. 3, Manitowoc; a grandson, Harvey Schuette of Milwaukee, four
great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. Friends may call at the
funeral home after 4 p.m. Friday.
