MRS. A. DUFEK PASSES AFTER LONG ILLNESS
Coming as a relief after nearly three months of suffering, death today took
the life of Mrs. Lillian Dufek, aged 36, mother of five children and wife of
Anton J. Dufek, at the hospital where she has been under treatment since
January 22. Heart trouble was responsible for the death.
Mr. Dufek, nee Krema, was born in Zander, October 25, 1889, and in 1919,
August 25, married Anton Dufek, the couple taking residence here. The five
surviving children are Mary Ann, Margaret and Mildred, twins; and Anton Jr.
and John. A sister, Mrs. J. J. Stangel of this city, and five brothers, Joseph
of Chicago, John of Oshkosh, Anton of this city and Charles and Wenzel of
Zander.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 9:30 at Sacred Heart, Rev.
Father Luby officiating, and burial will take place at Evergreen cemetery.
