WILLIAM F. DUMMER

William F. Dummer, 85, of 1414 S. 12th st. Manitowoc, died early Sunday morning
at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a short illness.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at First German Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. ?. ?. Koeninger will officiate and burial
will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mr. Dummer was born in Germany March 2, 1872, son of the late William and
Henriette Roepke Dummer.

He came to the United States settling at Manitowoc.

In ___ he married Emilie Behringer.

He worked 27 years for Rahr Brewing Co., __ years for Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry
and for Aluminum Goods Mfg. Co. until retiring in 1945.

His wife died Jan. 27, 1936.

He was a former secretary and elder and a member of the male choir of the
church.

Mr. Dummer is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Robert E. Christman of Manitowoc. Two
sons, George at Manitowoc and Bruno of Los Angeles; a sister, Mrs. August Meyer
of Manitowoc; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A son William
died in 1948.

Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, until 11
a.m.Tuesday when the casket will be moved to the church where the body will lie
in state until the hour of service.
