ELEANOR DUPREY

Mrs. Louis Duprey, 69, of 1021 Manila St., Manitowoc, died Monday at University
Hospital, Madison, after a brief illness.
Christian Science services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Urbanek and
Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Duprey, nee Eleanor Haberman, was born Nov. 18, 1895, at Manitowoc, daughter
of the late Herman and Minnie Borcherdt Haberman. July 3, 1938, she was married
to Louis Duprey at Manitowoc. She was a member of Christian Science Church of
Manitowoc and of the mother church at Boston and served as librarian for the local
church. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and had been
secretary at the state VFW department office of Wisconsin at Manitowoc.
She is survived by her husband, a daughter, (private), three brothers, Archie and
Harold, of Manitowoc and Frank, of Grand Rapids, Mich., and two sisters, Mrs.
Elmer Torrison and Mrs. Lee Stone, of Manitowoc.
Friends may call at the funeral home, Ninth Street entrance, after 3 p.m. Wednesday.
