CHARLOTTE G. FERDON Charlotte (Karl) Ferdon, age 82, of 2201 Richmond Ave., Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Wednesday morning, Nov. 21, 2007. Charlotte was born on April 29, 1925, in Kewaunee, daughter of the late George and Pauline (Kowalski) Karl, and has been a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Manitowoc, class of 1943. Charlotte was employed by The Veteran's Service Office, Johnson Hills Department Store, and finally First National Bank, until her retirement. On Dec. 27, 1947, she married Glenn Ferdon at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Charlotte was a member of St. Francis of Assisi, the St. Francis of Assisi Altar Society, and the Elk's Ladies Auxiliary, Manitowoc. She was an avid golfer. (Survivors omitted for privacy.) She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters and three brothers-in-law: Caroline (Daniel) Langenkamp; Gertrude (Edward) Konecny; and Reuben Hartl. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007, at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Monsignor Jim Vanden Hogen, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
