CARLINDA GARRIGAN

Mrs. Thomas P. Garrigan, 93, who had been making her home at the home of a son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Olson, of Rt. 4, Manitowoc, died Sunday at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, following a brief illness. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral home, Manitowoc, with the Rev. Michael Garrigan, grandson, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
She was born Carlinda Classon May 10, 1869, in the Town of Cato, daughter of the late Andrew and Flora Gray Classon. She was married to Thomas P. Garrigan Nov. 19, 1890, at Menominee, Mich. The family lived for a time at Engals, Mich., and moved to Manitowoc in 1914. Her husband died in 1934. Among survivors are four sons, Stanley and Gervase of Lena, Wis., Harold of Menasha and Leland of Manitowoc; two daughters, Mrs. Daniel Hanley of Crystal Lake, Ill., and Mrs. Lloyd Olson of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Carlotta Hertz of Norwalk, Calif.; 34 grandchildren, 96 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. A son and daughter also preceded her in death. Friends may all at the Ninth Street entrance of the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 o'clock this Monday evening.
