Worked At Brewery Here. The dead man spent most of his life in Manitowoc having been born at Oconto in 1906. He was employed for several years at the Kingsbury brewery here, and married the former Frances Christorf of this city. Later he left here to take employment in Chicago. He enlisted in the army quartermaster corp in 1941, attained the rank of first lieutenant and took part in the Normandy invasion. He was released from the service in November, 1946, and at that time spent some time in the city before returning to Chicago to take employment at the Waldorf hotel. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Carlinda Garrigan of this city; daughter, Marjorie Ellen Garrigan, of Two Rivers; two sisters, Mrs. Lloyd Olson of this city, Mrs. Dan Hanley of Arlington Heights, Ill.; four brothers, Leland of this city, Stanley and Gervase of Lena, Wis., and Harold of Menasha.
