HENRY GAUGER (d. 1941)

Henry Gauger, Sr., 73, of 619 South 28th street, died Sunday at Vallejo, Calif.,
while on a visit to his sister, Mrs. Ed Neuhauser. His wife died last November.
The body is to be brought to Manitowoc for burial. Funeral arrangements will be
announced later.
Mr. Gauger was born in the town of Morrison and at the age of 12 years moved
with the family to Marshfield, Wis. He married Miss Emma Springborne there and
they made their home in that city until 12 years ago when they came to this
city. He left several weeks ago to visit with his sister, in California.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. George Lieb of Walla Walla, Wash., Mildred
and Erna, of this city, two sons, Henry, Jr., of this city, Harold of Ladysmith,
Wis.; sister, Mrs. Neuhauser, of Vallejo.

will arrive here Friday on the North Western train at 3 p.m. Funeral rites
will take place immediately at the grave in Evergreen cemetery, the Rev. Paul
Blaufuss officiating.
