LaDonia E. Greuel, age 86, formerly of 1923 County Trunk B, Manitowoc, died
Thursday afternoon, February 24, 1994, at the Manitowoc Health Care Center.
Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 am. Monday, February 28, 1994, at the
Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. David Ruby with
burial to follow at the Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The former Ladonia Frye was born November 8, 1907, at Manitowoc, daughter of
the late Joseph and Libbie Maresh Frye. She married Hugo P. Greuel June 7, 1941,
at Cincinnati, Ohio. He preceded her in death August 19, 1975. Mrs. Greuel was
an elementary school teacher and homemaker for many years. She was a member of
Holy Innocents Catholic Church and the Holy Innocents Christian Mothers.
Survivors include a son Peter Greuel, Corsicana, Texas; a daughter, Karen Bedell,
West Allis, Wis. She is further survived by her close friends the Zipperer family,
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive. She was also preceded in
death by two sisters, Camille Heier and Eleanor Frye.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m., Sunday, where a
prayer service will conclude the visitation at 7 p.m. by Deacon Paul Kieffer.
