ORVIN HANSEN

Orvin N. Hansen, 60, of 1416 Viebahn St., Manitowoc, died Monday at Holy Family
Hospital, Manitowoc, where he was a patient 16 days.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at First Reformed United Church
of Christ, Manitowoc. The Rev. Theodore P. Crusius will officiate and burial
will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Hansen was born Nov. 21, 1908 at Manitowoc, son of the late Oscar and Patrina
Larson Hansen. He married Olive M. Konop at Manitowoc July 26, 1930. Mr. Hansen
worked for Manitowoc Engineering Co. since September, 1929, as a pattern maker,
and was treasurer of the Pattern Makers Association of Manitowoc since its
organization.
Survivors include the wife, a son (private) and a daughter, (private); a brother,
Earl, of Tucson, Ariz.; two sisters, Mrs. Harold Schaffer, of Manitowoc and Mrs.
John Ewald, of Rt. 1, Manitowoc; and five grandchildren. A daughter, Marlene,
preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, this Tuesday evening until
11:30 a.m. Wednesday and at the church until time of service.

MISS KONOP IS BRIDE OF ORVIN HANSEN AT ST. BONIFACE TODAY
In a ceremony performed by Rev. Father Kersten at the St. Boniface parsonage
this morning at eight o'clock Miss Olive M. Konop became the bride of Orvin P.
Hansen in the presence of intimate friends and relatives.
The bride, daughter of Mrs. A. Konop, 909 Chicago street, was attended by Miss
Harriet Hansen as maid of honor. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar
Hansen of 602 Jay street. Joseph Konop, brother of the bride, attended the
groom.
Following the marriage ceremony a breakfast was served to immediate relatives
at the home of the bride. The couple are leaving today on a honeymoon trip to
points of interest in northern Wisconsin and they will be home to friends after
August 4th at 2011 Washington street.
The bride is a graduate of the Lincoln High school '27 and formerly held a
position in the office of the Aluminum Goods Mfg. Co., the groom being a
pattern maker at the Shipbuilding Corp.
