OSCAR C.E. HANSEN (d. 1954)

Oscar C. E. Hansen, 68, who resided with his son Orvin of 1710 Viebahn St.,
Manitowoc, died Tuesday morning at the Holy Fmaily Hospital, Manitowoc,
following a week’s illness.
Funeral plans are incomplete and will be announced Wednesday by the Urbanek
and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc.
He was born in Manitowoc in 1886 and in 1906 married Miss Patrina Larson. They
located at Shirley, Brown County, and later returned to Manitowoc. He was
employed as a carpenter by the Rahr Malting Company and was a member of the
Carpenters Local No. 849, AFL. His wife died in 1946.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Harold Schaffer of Manitowoc, Mrs. John Ewald
of Rt. 1, Manitowoc; two sons, Orvin of Manitowoc, Earl of Tucson, Ariz.; three
brothers, Mead and Ben Hansen, and Richard Groll, all of Manitowoc; nine grand-
children and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Oscar E. Hansen, 68, of 1710 Viebahn St., Manitowoc, who
died Tuesday, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Reformed Church. The
Rev. A. C. Fischer will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Friends may call at the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3
p.m. Thursday. The casket will be moved to the church at 10 a.m. Friday.
