Lorine S. Harder, age 94, a Manitowoc resident, died Tuesday, March 30, 2004 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, April 2, 2004 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1712 Menasha Ave., Manitowoc. The Rev. Richard C. Miller will officiate with burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
Lorine was born June 3, 1909 in the town of Harrion, Calumet County, daughter of the late John and Lydia Ristau Merbach. On June 5, 1935, she married Leonard H. Harder at St. John Lutheran Church, town of Woodville, Calumet county. They resided in Hilbert from 1946 until coming to Manitowoc in 1980. Leoanard preceded her in death June 11, 1995. They celebrated 60 years together. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Chruch and Lutheran Women's Missionary Society. Lorine was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; her family was her life.

In addition to her parents and husband: Leonard, Lorine is preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law and three sisters and four brothers-in-law: Harry (Lillian) Merbach, Sarah (John) Deno, Ruth (Gus) Plate and Celia (Art) Plate: Ralph Timm and by Leonard Harder's brothers and sisters.
Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday (TODAY) at The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State St., Manitowoc, and on Friday at Redeemer Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. to the time of service at 11 a.m.
The family would like to thank the staff at Shady Lane Home for the many years of loving care.
