Phiip J. Hartl, 92, a Manitowoc resident, died Thursday, March 21, at North Ridge Care Center in Manitowoc
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home. The Rev. Gerald Schrankler will officiate with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Hartl was born May 27, 1892, at Seymour, Wisconsin, son of the late Philip and Theresa Kroner Hartl Sr. He married the former Augusta Adler on July 22, 1913, in Manitowoc. The couple resided in Manitowoc after their marriage. She preceded him in death March 7, 1964. Mr. Hartl was employed at Mirro Aluminum Company in Manitowoc for 38 years, retiring in 1958.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Grace and Ray W. Zunker of Manitowoc; two grandsons and a grand daughter-in-law, Scott and Janet Zunker and David Zunker, both of Manitowoc; a great grandson, Mark; a great granddaughter, Christie and nieces and nephew also survived. He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters.
