Hilbert E. Haupt, 70, of 916 Chicago St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Friday
at his residence. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral
Home. The Rev. Paul H. Blaufuss will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Haupt was born March 1, 1907 in the Town of Newton, son of the late August
and Bertha Vogt Haupt. He was employed with Burger Boat Co. of Manitowoc until
his retirement in 1969.
Survivors include a brother, Ziegfried Haupt of 4814 S. Union Rd., Manitowoc;
a sister, Mrs. Edwin (Elenora) Krueger of 5732 S. Union Rd., Manitowoc and
nieces and nephews. Five brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call in Pfeffer Funeral Home 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday
until the time of service.
