MILTON J. HEFFERNAN

Milton Heffernan, 51, of 165A N. 67th St., Milwaukee, died Saturday at Milwaukee
County Hospital where he had been a patient six days.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc,
with the Rev. Theodore P. Crusius officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery.
Mr. Heffernan was born at Glenmore, Wis., Jan. 5, 1909, son of the late James
Heffernan and Kathryn Morris Heffernan. He attended Manitowoc schools and was
graduated from Lincoln High School, Manitowoc, in 1927. He was employed variously
at Manitowoc until marrying Grace Rosinsky at Iowa Nov. 27, 1942, when the couple
moved to Milwaukee. He was employed by Miller Brewing Co.
Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Manb?l of Yuma, Ariz., his mother
of Manitowoc; three sisters, Mrs. Walter Terry, Mrs. Albert Pierson and Miss
Kathryn Heffernan of Manitowoc; three brothers, William of Green Bay, Francis of
Two Rivers and Paul of Manitowoc; and a number or nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the funeral home until the time of service.

Marriage of Milton Heffernan & Susan Zagrodnik
Miss Susan Zagrodnik, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Zagrodnik, 1901 Hamilton
Street and Mr. Milton Heffernan, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Heffernan, 427 North
9th Street were united in marriage Monday morning at St. Mary's church, Rev.
J. M. Pochiecha performed the ceremony.
Miss Esther Demsky was maid of honor and the Misses Irene Budysch, Caroline Budysh
and Monica Heffernan were bridesmaids. Groomsmen were Francis Heffernan, Stanley
Becker and Leo Novak. Thirty-five families were guests at the wedding dinner,
served at the Zagrodnik home at noon. A reception preceded the dinner. Among guests
from outside were Mr. and Mrs. Anton Zagrodnik, Milwaukee; Mrs. Lillian Heffernan
and children, Oshkosh; Dr. P. J. Taugher, St. Nazianz; Miss Cora Heffernan, Detroit,
Mich.; Mr. and Mrs. John Murphy, Iron River and Dr. F.J. Morris and family, Los
Angeles, Calif.
It is a pleasure to chronicle the marriage of such worthy young people and the Pilot
wafts to them its congratulations. The young couple will make their home on 25th
Street at Washington.
