Mrs. Joseph B. Hermann, 87, of 1611 Dewey St., Manitowoc, died Thursday afternoon
at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, after an illness of a week.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Mittnacht Funeral Home,
Manitowoc, with the Rev. D. T. Stannard officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery.
The former Emma Heise was born at Manitowoc May 24, 1873, daughter of the late Mr.
and Mrs. Albert Heise. She was educated in Manitowoc schools and married in the city
to Joseph B. Heise (sic) Jan. 28, 1896. The couple celebrated the 60th anniversary
of the wedding in 1956.
Surviving her are a daughter, Mrs. Henry Wagner, of Manitowoc, 11 grandchildren,
18 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. Her husband, a son and
a daughter preceded her in death in 1957.
