Josie has gone to be with the Lord and those she loved who have gone before her. Born in Two Rivers, Wis., to William and Sibyl Gallenberger on November 12, 1926, Josie grew to be a woman of uncommon character, strength and compassion. A mother of 5 and a nurse of nineteen years to many at the Brown County Mental Health Center, who spoke her mind, shared her humor and raised and loved her family. As was her wish, Josie's ashes will return to the place she loved most, Green Bay.
A Mermorial Service will be held at Wequiock Church on Saturday, June 3, 2000, at 10 a.m. A gathering for family and friends in celebration of her life and legacy of love she leaves behind to all who knew her will follow at Josie and Beeler's home at 4329 Nicolet Drive, Green Bay. Phone: (private). A private family service will be held at her final resting-place at Evergreen Cemetery in Manitowoc, where she will join her mother and father.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Hospice of the Valley, Arizona, whose staff gave comfort and guidance to Josie and her family in her last days. May Josie find comfort and peace as she rests with God.
