GILJAM HUTCHISON

Giljam Hutchison, 73, of Star Route Townsend formerly of 1524 N. 23rd St.,
Manitowoc, died Thursday morning at Oconto Falls Memorial Hospital following
a brief illness.
Private funeral services will be Saturday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home,
Manitowoc. The Rev. William A. Schultz will officiate with burial in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Hutchison was born Aug. 29, 1902, in the Town of Meeme, Sheboygan County,
son of the late John M. and Mollie Katte Hutchison. He was educated in
Sheboygan County. He married Martha C. Weier April 18, 1925. She preceded him
in death in 1968. He had been employed at Manitowoc Shipbuilding, Inc., retiring
in 1961.
Survivors include eight brothers, Cornelius, Theodore, Henry, Andrew and Clarence
of Manitowoc, James and Edward of Sheboygan and Harry of Milwaukee, three sisters,
Mrs. Herman (Minne) Hecker of Manitowoc, and Mrs. Arthur (Josephine) Klein of Two
Rivers and Mrs. Ann Gutknecht of Sheboygan and nieces and nephews. A daughter
Adeline and three brothers William, John and Wilbert preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, State Street Chapel from 6
to 9 o’clock this Friday evening.
