Clarence Hynek, 66, of Route 1, Whitelaw, died Thursday morning, Aug. 18, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Military graveside rites will be accorded Mr. Hynek by Veterans of Foreign Wars Otto-Oas Post 659 of Manitowoc.
Mr. Hynek was born July 13, 1917, in the Town of Franklin, son of Mrs. Mary Cisler Hynek and the late Wencel J. Hynek. He was a World War II veteran, serving with the United States Army in the European Theater. He had been employed with Mirro Corporation for 33 years, retiring in 1979 and was a member of VFW Otto-Oas Post 659.
Survivors include his mother and a brother, John, of Route 1, Whitelaw; two sisters, Mrs. Ottmar (Grace) Brandel of Green Bay and Mrs. Stanley (Emily) Kubichka of Manitowoc and several nieces and nephews. His father and a brother, Edwin, preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Saur Funeral Home 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday until the time of service.
