EDWIN HYNEK

Edwin (Wimpy) Hynek, 52, 1210 Hamilton St., Manitowoc, died Thursday at a
Manitowoc hospital following a short illness. Mr. Hynek was born July 15, 1915
in the Town of Franklin, son of the late Wenzel and Mrs. Mary Cisler Hynek. He
married Grace Krall Sept. 24, 1940 at St. Joseph Church, Kellnersville and the
couple resided at Manitowoc the last 22 years.
Survivors are his wife; a son, Dale of Manitowoc; a daughter, Jeanne at home;
his mother, who lived on Route 1, Whitelaw; two brothers, Clarence and John of
Route 1, Whitelaw, and two sisters, Mrs. Ottmar Brandel and Mrs. Stanley
Kubichka of Manitowoc.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, with
the Very Rev. Msgr. Alfred Schneider officiating. Burial was in Evergreen
Cemetery.

Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after a short illness.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc.
The Very Rev. Msgr. Alfred Schneider will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery with military graveside rites by the Otto Oas Veterans of
Foreign Wars Post No. 659.
Mr. Hynek was born July 15, 1915, in the Town of Franklin, son of the late Wenzel
and Mrs. Mary Cisler Hynek. He married Grace Krall Sept. 24, 1940, at St. Joseph
Church, Kellnersville, and the couple resided at Manitowoc the last 22 year. He
was a roofer for the William Schaus and Son Inc., firm 31 years, and a U.S. Navy
veteran of World War II. He belonged to the VFW post, Manitowoc County Sheriff
and Deputies Assn., and the Seagulls.
Survivors are his wife; a son, Dale, of Manitowoc; a daughter, Jeanne, at home;
his mother, who lives on Rt. 1, Whitelaw; two brothers, Clarence and John of Rt.
1, Whitelaw, and two sisters, Mrs. Ottmar Brandel and Mrs. Stanley Kubichka of
Manitowoc.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday.
