Jerome J Junk age 73 of 1531 Kuhl Street, Manitowoc died Wednesday, November 22, 1989 at Bellin Memorial Hospital Green Bay. Funeral services 10:30 am Saturday at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and 11 am at Holy Innocents Catholic Church Manitowoc. Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Rev Leo J Schmitt with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Born December 2, 1915 in the Town of Centerville WI to the late Joseph+Anna Haarmann Junk, he graduated from Lincoln HS with the Class of 1932. He served in the US Army during World War II in the Pacific Theatre. He married the former Irene Reitinger on September 20, 1941 in Manitowoc. Mr. Junk was active in real estate and insurance for many years. For the past 5 years he was Manager of the store for The Society of St Vincent de Paul. Mr. Junk was a member of Manitowoc Knights of Columbus Council 710, Society of St. Vincent de Paul and Holy Innocents Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife; brother Arnold+Helen Junk/rural Manitowoc; 2 sisters Adeline+ Robert Van Haren/Manitowoc, Mildred+Clarence Kocourek/Redwood, California; 2 foster brothers Lloyd (Ruth) Junk+Earl (Jeanette) Junk, all of Manitowoc; foster sister Ethelyn+Dale Bolle/Reifs Mills. He was preceded in death by 5 adult brothers: Ralph, George, Eugene, Ronald, Joseph and an infant brother. Memorials may be made to Society of St. Vincent de Paul
