He was born July 18, 1919, in the township of Centerville, Manitowoc County,
son of the late Andrew and Mary Zinkel Junk. He grew up and was educated in the town of Centerville, moving from there to the town of Manitowoc in 1948. He married Mabel E. Lorenz on July 6, 1946, at Cleveland, Wis. Marvin was a Globe-Normington Laundry and Dry cleaners rural route driver for 33 years retiring in 1981. He is a member of Rockwood Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mabel, Manitowoc; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Thomas L. and Joyce Junk, Manitowoc, Mark L. Junk, Milwaukee; one daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Gene Erdman, Manitowoc; four grandchildren, Julie, Holly and Craig Erdman, Ricky Junk; one brother, Norbert Jung, West Allis, Wis.; one sister and brother-in-law, Josephine and Lawrence Wagner, Sheboygan; other sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Alfred and Florence Brandl, Manitowoc, Ann Junk, Florence
Junk and Mary Lorenz, all of Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by one infant son, Gary, three brothers,
Edward, Albert and Waldemar, a sister-in-law, Martha and a brother-in-law, Victor Lorenz.
