OCTAVIA KADOW
Mrs. John (Octavia) Kadow Jr., 73, of 1016 N. 16th St., Manitowoc, died Monday
afternoon, Jan. 14, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m.
at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Theodore J. Hendricks will
officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Kadow, nee Octavia L. LesMonde, was born Feb. 1, 1906, at Green Bay, daughter
of the late Desire J. and Olive Trask LesMonde. She came to Manitowoc to reside in
1922 and was graduated from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1923. April 16,
1924, she was married to John Kadow Jr. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
He preceded her in death Nov. 10, 1954. Mrs. Kadow was a member of Elks Lodge 687
Auxiliary.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Frick and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Agnes N.
LesMonde of Manitowoc and nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, where a prayer
service will be at 8 p.m.
