Jerome T. Kaminski, 76, of 514 Mark Lane, Downers Grove, Ill., formerly of 504
S. 25th St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Thursday evening, June 4, at his
son's residence in Downers Grove.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Parkside Funeral Home and 11 a.m.
at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated by Rev. Philip Hoffman and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc .
Mr. Kaminski was born June 9, 1904, at Watertown, Wis., son of the late Frank
and Veronica Belinski Kaminski. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the
Navy as lieutenant commander. He married Dorothy Chapman July 6, 1935, at St.
Jude Catholic Church, Wauwatosa, Wis. She preceded him in death Feb. 28, 1972.
Mr. Kaminski resided in Milwaukee until 1939 when he moved to Manitowoc. For
many years he was employed as sales engineer at Manitowoc Engineering Company,
retiring in 1970. He was past post commander and member of V.F.W. Otto Oas Post
No. 659, Order of Eagles Aerie No. 706, and past member of St. Paul Catholic
Church.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Mary Kaminski of Downers
Grove; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Irene Kaminski of Milwaukee,
and Emil and Evie Kaminski of Middleton, Wis.; a sister, Joan Niemi of Milwaukee;
three grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call at Parkside Funeral Home from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday where a
prayer service will be held at 8 p.m. by Deacon William Klein.
