CHESTER J. KARBON, SR.

Chester J. Karbon, Sr. age 75, of 1224 S. 36th St., Manitowoc, died
Tuesday, February 14, 1995, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 17, 1995,
at Bethany Lutheran Church. Rev. Bruce McKenney will officiate with
burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
Chester was born January 5, 1920 in Manitowoc County, son of the late
Joseph and Ella Wacholz Karbon. He attended schools in Manitowoc.
Chester married Ann Nething on October 24, 1941, in Manitowoc. The
couple made their home in Manitowoc. He was the owner of the C.J.
Karbon Roofing Company and was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ann, Manitowoc; two sons and
daughters-in-law, (private), three daughters and two sons-in-law,
(private); three brothers and sisters-in-law, Lloyd and Elizabeth
Karbon, Roland and Geneva Karbon, Elmer and Elaine Karbon, all of
Manitowoc, two sisters and on brother-in-law, Mabel Gadzinski,
Manitowoc, Luella and Henry Barbieur, Janesville; nine grandchildren;
one great grandchild; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
also survive. He was preceded in death by one brother and one
son-in-law.
Friends may call at the Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4-9 p.m.
Thursday and on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the
church.
