Funeral services will be held Tuesday for Mrs. Emilie Klessig, 98, widow of
Leo, a former Cleveland resident who died Saturday at the Heritage Nursing home,
Manitowoc, where she had been residing two years. The Rev. Henry Kock, pastor,
will officiate at St. John & St. Peter Lutheran Church, Cleveland and burial
will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Born On June 2, 1876 in the town of Meeme, she was a daughter of the late Carl
and Henrietta Kolb. On Dec. 15, 1895 she was married to Mr. Klessig. The
couple resided in Cleveland. He died Jan. 25, 1933.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Elmer (Evelyn) Jens, Manitowoc; a grandson
and four great grandchildren. Ten brothers and four sisters preceded her in
death.
