DORA KLUSMEYER
Mrs. Walter Klusmeyer, 59, of 1226 S. 12th St., Manitowoc, died Friday
afternoon at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, after a short illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the first German Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. L. H. Koeninger will officiate and
burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The former Dora Hoefner was born in the Town of Newton June 8, 1896, daughter
of the late Henry Hoefner and Mrs. Anna Baryenbruch Hoefner. She was married
to Walter Klusmeyer Oct. 25, 1919, and the couple always resided in Manitowoc.
She was a member of the Ladies Aid Society of the church.
Surviving her are the husband, five daughters, Mrs. Elmer Vogt of Rt. 3,
Manitowoc, and Misses Marion, Edith, Ethel and Loretta Klusmeyer of Manitowoc;
three sons, Harold, Emmet and Elroy of Manitowoc; mother, Mrs. Anna Hoefner of
Manitowoc; four brothers, Charles, Edmund and Walter of Manitowoc and Norbert
of Newtonburg; three sisters, Mrs. Adolph Buck and Mrs. Herbert Reicherdt of
Manitowoc and Mrs. John Waack of Rt. 3, Manitowoc; and six grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 2
p.m. Sunday until 10 a.m. Monday when the casket will be moved to the church
where the body will lie in state until the hour of service.
