Mrs. Agnes M. Krejcie, 75, of 4919 Morgan Drive, Manitowoc, died Wednesday
afternoon, December 13, 1989 at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc. Funeral
services will be 10 am Saturday at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
Celebrating the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Leo J. Schmitt with burial
to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Krejcie was born March 12, 1914 at Cooperstown, Wisconsin, daughter of the
late Patrick and Agnes Geimer Dewane. She grew up in Cooperstown and attended St.
James Grade School and Denmark High School. She moved to Manitowoc after her
marriage to Victor E. Krejcie on June 1, 1935 at St. James Catholic Church,
Cooperstown. The couple lived in Manitowoc until 1952 when they moved to Cedar
Rapids, Iowa. The couple returned to Manitowoc in 1965. Mrs. Krejcie did volunteer
work at Immaculate Conception Grade School at Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She enjoyed
golfing at Manitowoc Elks Club and was a member of Holy Innocents Catholic
Church.
Survivors include her husband, Victor; a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Robert V.
and Evelyn Krejcie of Maple, Wisconsin; three daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia
and Kenneth Bureau of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Marjorie and John LaBrecque of Sun
Valley, California, Bernadette and Richard Lambert of Manitowoc; three sisters,
Viola Leiker of Manitowoc, Mary Kane of Green Bay, Dorothy Wacek of rural Tisch
Mills; nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other
relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter,
Laurie Bureau, three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Reinbold Pfeffer Urbanek and Schlie Funeral Home, 5 pm to
8 pm Friday. Prayer service will be held at 7:30 pm led by Deacon Don Gigure.
