DANIEL KRIESER
Daniel C. Krieser, 85, of 1110 N. Eighth St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday at
Family Heritage Nursing Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc.
The Rev. Glenn Unke will officiate with burial in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mr. Krieser was born Nov. 1, 1891, in the Town of Morrison, Brown County, son
of the late William and Wilhelmina Rose Krieser. He married Wilhelmina Jaeckel
in 1916 at Manitowoc. She preceded him in death Aug. 13, 1944. He resided in
Manitowoc most of his life. Prior to his retirement 20 years ago, he had been
employed as a fireman at Rahr Malting Co., Manitowoc, for 30 years. Mr. Krieser
was an honorary member of the Brewers and Malsters Union Local and a charter
member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Shirley Krieser, of
Manitowoc, a daughter and son-in-law, Doris and Neck Gazzana, of Milwaukee; two
sisters, Mrs. Albert Gohr and Mrs. Adolph Mancel, of Manitowoc; nine grandchildren
and 13 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Memorials may
be made to Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church Building Fund.
