EDMUND W. KROHN

Mr. Edmund W. Krohn, 92, formerly of 314 Riverview Drive, Manitowoc, died Thursday,
March 3, 1988 at Wisconsin Veterans Home, King, Wisconsin. Funeral services will be
2 pm Saturday at Wesley United Methodist Church, Manitowoc. Rev. Robert B. Hayes
will officiate with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Krohn was born September 4, 1895 in Manitowoc, son of the late Fred and Emma
Vogt Krohn. He married the former Alice Vetting on May 8, 1920 in Manitowoc. She
preceded him in death January 20, 1985. Mr. Krohn was a resident of Manitowoc all
his life, prior to moving to the Veterans Home. He was a carpenter by trade, prior
to his retirement. Mr. Krohn was a member of Carpenters Local 849 and was a Veteran
of World War I.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Eileen and Richard Gerold of Hobart,
Indiana; a brother, Fred Krohn of Manitowoc; a sister, Estha Glaeser of Manitowoc;
a granddaughter, Mrs. Ann Juretic-Mis and four great grandsons, Thomas, Richard,
Jeffrey and James Juretic. He was preceded in death by a son, Jack Krohn and a
daughter, Carol Delaney.
Friends may call at Wesley Unitd Methodist church from 1 pm Saturday and until the
hour of service. There will be no Friday evening visitation at the funeral home.
Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, assisted the family with arrangements.
