Mrs. Fred Krohn, 67, died Friday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs.
Arnold Glaeser, 1117 Philippen street. She had been ill several months.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m., from the Pfeffer funeral
home and at two o’clock at the Lutheran church, the Rev. L. H. Koeninger
officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. Krohn, nee Emma Vogt, was born at Newton in 1870. Se was married to Fred
Krohn 44 years ago and they came to this city to make their home. Mr. Krohn
died in 1932.
Survivors are two sons, Edmund and Fred, city; a daughter, Mrs. Arnold Gineser,
city; four sisters, Mrs. Minnie Buck and Mrs. William Schuetze, both of this
city, Mrs. August Haupt and Mrs. Erwin Klemm, both of Newton; two brothers,
Herman and John Vogt, Newton; and five grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home from this evening until the hour of
the services Monday.
